At C-MER Medical, safeguarding health and well-being of the public is the heart of what we do in social responsibility. In light of the fifth wave of COVID-19 Omicron pandemic in Hong Kong, the demand of test kits has been rising rapidly. With the aim of ensuring adequate supply of quality rapid test-kits to the mass public, C-MER Medical was authorized by Shenzhen YHLO Biotech Co., Ltd. (“YHLO”) to act as the sole distributor of YHLO GLINE-2019-nCoV AG Rapid Antigen Self-test in Hong Kong on 18 February 2022.
C-MER Medical, together with YHLO, donated 1.2 million rapid test-kits to the underprivileged. By collaborating with over 70 partnering charities and non-profit organizations. these kits were distributed free of charge to the people who are the most in need. The main recipients comprise the high-risk groups and people who require regular testing in their line of work, including those working in elderly and nursing homes, cleaning, property and management industry, and taxi and mini-bus drivers, chronic patients and families living in subdivided rooms. By standing with people of Hong Kong in fighting the virus, it is a testimonial of the Group’s efforts in fulfilling corporate social responsibility.
The donation campaign has received overwhelming response from the supporting organizations. They describe this initiative is indeed a timely donation for the organizations to help the underprivileged families without worrying about purchasing test kits and ease their financial burden.
It is this sense of togetherness that will help Hong Kong
through this time of
