CMER EYE

Eye disorder is one of the common diseases in Hong Kong. As the population ages, the number of people aged 65 and above will increase significantly from 1.32 million in 2019 to 2.70 million in 2050#. This demographic change will boost the incidence rate of age-related eye diseases. At the same time, Hong Kong is also among cities with the highest prevalence of myopia worldwide, affecting more than 40% of school children at the age of eight*.
